Tim Cooke has a background in media teaching and was once media
director of one of the first web design agencies in the UK. He has
published a collection of short stories (Ellipsis 1 through Comma
Press) and had his first novel turned into a film, 'The Principles
of Lust' (Pathe/Channel 4, 2003). He also spent several years as a
regular score composer for Channel 4.
As for photography, he has exhibited and sold his photographs
widely around Saddleworth, particularly in the early 90s where his
work focused on shooting from the hip and large-scale photocollage.
He has lately returned to the fold, and has recently had two pieces
of photographic work in Manchester City Art Gallery. He splits his
time between his flat in Manchester and his partner's house in
Todmorden, West Yorkshire.
