The images below formed part of the research for a project
around the idea of hands and self-care, particularly as
both relate to mental health, which i recently heard
re-translated as 'psychological and emotional distress' as
if this was a more pc way of putting it. The final image
and the animation at the bottom were both shown in the
'HELD' exhibition which ran at Manchester Art Gallery from
March to July 2009 and is moving now to Blackburn Art
Gallery. The animations have been shown repeatedly on the
Big Screens across the UK.
