My name is Tam Hinton. I live in Manchester but I'm not one of
these people. I come from the Midlands. Sort of.
More to the point, I am a writer of mangled plays, and a maker of
mind altering animations. I am a member of the STUDIO SALFORD
theatre collective. But I'm not from Salford. I do go there a lot
though. Its very nice. Very nasal.
Why must we fight? Why is there racism, and child abuse, and rape
and global warming? Why must beauty and love struggle like a
tenacious runt for the dryest nipple on the dog of life- while the
bitch puppies of greed and war guzzle all the sweet colustrum from
the fatter tits of mother pooch?
In my work I attempt to address these issues. I strive to find a
little niche where wonder and hope may grow, like a nourishing kind
of fungus. Come, shove your fingers into my special digital
crevice: maybe, just maybe, they will come out encrusted with
wonderful spores.
Here are links to my earnest, yearning writings; and my bellicose,
ultra-spondulistic live performances.
I hope that whoever you are, whatever you believe, you have at
least five nice minutes in your life and that you never, ever lose
both your hands in an accident involving a voodoo painter and an
office guillotine.
