THE PACKAGE is a play written by TAM HINTON. The play was first produced on stage at greenroom, Manchester in 2007, starring Hinton, Thomas Liggett and Karen McLeod.

A comical/horrible/magical story of doomed love and fiendish greed, THE PACKAGE charts the fortunes of verbose Yorkshire gangboss MOFFAT as he searches for the most valuable object in the world.

In these three scenes, we encounter the seductive MIFFY, who has crossed over to 'the other side; repellant ruling class pervert GLASS, agent of the sinister SECTION FOURTEEN; and are afforded a glimpse of the many shards of MOFFAT's fractured personality.

Scenes from the 2009 'reflange' of THE PACKAGE premiered at the Contact Theatre in Manchester, on October 1st 2009, put on and directed by THE NORTHWEST PLAYWRIGHTS.
