Nerys trained at Manchester Metropolitan University in the early nineties specializing in textiles and embroidery. She grew up on a farm in North Wales, and her work is still greatly influenced by the beautiful and rugged surroundings that she encountered there. Nerys works in an extensive range of media eg oils, hand-dyed fabrics, chalks and pastels reflecting the colours of her environment.
